Banned Books trading cards and the chance to win a BBW tote bag

Fri, 09/27/2013 - 11:40 -- Nanette Perez

Last year, the Lawrence Public Library initiated a hugely successful "Banned Books Trading Cards" project, thanks to a grant from the Freedom to Read Foundation. This year, they're doing it again - and so is the Chapel Hill Public Library! Even if you're not in or near one of those towns, you can order sets of cards for your very own (click the link for details). There are some really remarkable pieces from local artists in those college towns. Details on purchasing these trading cards are available on  Chapel Hill Public Library and Lawrence Public Library websites.

AND, our friends at @ your library are offering FREE Banned Books Week tote bags to 4 lucky participants who vote for their favorite trading card! Click here for more details.
