Banned Books Week

Celebrating the Freedom to Read: Sept. 21-27, 2014

It takes courage to defend intellectual freedom and the freedom to read. To that end, the sponsors of Banned Books Week have identified outstanding individuals and groups who have stood up to defend their freedom to read by honoring them with the title Heroes of Banned Books Week.
